Gin – Single £4, Double £6

Hunters Cheshire Gin (43.3%)

A high quality, export strength London Dry Gin full of character with its heart in Cheshire. Subtle citrus overtones with a spicy fruit edge using Cheshire apples from the historic Norton Priory gardens’ own orchard. Distilled from a 300 year old recipe using highest quality botanicals.

Aber Falls Marmalade Gin (41.3%)

Have you been waiting for a gin where an appropriate garnish would a slice of buttered toast? Well, here you go – Orange Marmalade Gin from Aber Falls in Abergwyngregyn, Wales. I mean, obviously there are many uses for a gin that packs such a hefty orange flavour profile, but come on. Toast garnish. It’s the future.

Monkey 47 (47%)

Monkey 47 is distilled in the Schwarzwald region of Germany. The ’47’ in the name comes from the 47 botanicals used and the 47% ABV.

Cotswolds (46%)

Unfiltered creating a pearlescent cloudiness when a mixer or ice is added. Clean pine spice from the juniper followed by fresh grapefruit and coriander seed.

Cherry (42.6%)

Made using a combination of sweet and sour Marasca cherries, subtly accented with orange, cinnamon, clove and vanilla.

Silent Pool (43%)

As well as using water from the spring-fed Silent Pool pond next to the distillery, from which the gin takes its name and the colour of its bottle, it features 24 botanicals. These include chamomile, rose, elderflower, Kaffir lime leaf, pear, bergamot and local honey.

Warner Edwards Rhubarb (40%)

Made using a crop of rhubarb originally grown in the kitchen garden of Buckingham Palace during the reign of Queen Victoria.  The rhubarb juice is extracted using a traditional fruit press and blended with dry gin to make an alluring pink gin.

Adnams Southwold Copper House (40%)

Charged with juniper, citrus and floral notes. This trophy winning gin is handcrafted from grain to glorious gin using the finest East Anglian malted barley and six carefully selected botanicals.


Gin Mare (42.7%)

Gin Mare is produced in a converted chapel in the small town of Vilanova on the Costa Dorada in Spain. It is a ‘Mediterranean’ styled gin featuring botanicals including rosemary, thyme, olive and basil, alongside traditional botanicals.

Strawberry (37.5%)

A very pink strawberry gin from Sevilla. Described as a ‘mistake’ by the master-distiller at the Puerto de Indias distillery after a failed attempt at making a strawberry liqueur with fresh strawberries, he added the mashed strawberries to a new gin he was working on and the rest as they say is history

Spit Roasted Pineapple (40.1%)

Bursting with pineapple flavour, try with lemon tonic for a boozy “Lilt” feel.

Rum – Single £4, Double £6, mixers £1

Don Papa Small Batch Rum (40%)

A richly flavoursome rum from the Philippines, inspired by the story of Papa Isio, who played a big part in the late-19th century Philippine revolution. The rum is made using sugar cane grown on the island of Negros in the Philippines and matured in oak barrels for 7 years.

Plantation Rum 5 Year Old (40%)

Plantation Barbados 5-Year rum is distilled from molasses and aged 5 years in bourbon casks before being transported to France for further ‘finishing’ in Cognac casks. Hints of vanilla and banana.

Goslings Black Seal (40%)

A brilliant dark rum for mixing, produced in Bermuda since 1806. Rich and well balanced this has enticing notes of butterscotch, vanilla and caramel.

Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum (40%)

Sailor Jerry Spiced rum is crafted from a blend of Caribbean rums that are blended and infused with spices and other flavours including vanilla and cinnamon. The rum is produced by a company founded to honour the sailor-turned-tattoo artist, Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins

Bumbu (35%)

When pirates ruled the Seven Seas, they were known to partake of a spiced grog called Bumbu made from ingredients procured in their travels. This modern take consists of spices and sugarcane selected from 8 countries – Barbados, Belize, Brazil, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guyana and Honduras. It is distilled at the West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados. The rum is aged in first-fill bourbon casks with the oldest spirit aged 15 years

Glenkinchie Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 12 year old (43%)

An excellent example of the lowland style. Its aromatic smoothness brings to mind cut flowers and creamy lemon cheesecake.

Highland Park Viking Honour Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 12 year old (40%)

An intensely balanced Whisky, a perfect harmony of aromatic smoking peat and the flavours of sweet heather honey and rich fruit cake.



Jewel of Russia, Classic (40%)

Terrific authentic Russian vodka made with a mix of wheat and rye and filtered through charcoal made from the stones of peaches and apricots. A great all-rounder, good from the freezer or in cocktails.

Astronomer Chardonnay 2017, 12.5%

Made by De Bortoli in Australia. The yeast adds a little creaminess but very little oak. Be not afeared oh ABC drinkers! A bit of peach and pineapple makes this a super all year round wine.

Domaine du Vaux St Georges Touraine, Sauvignon Blanc 2017, 12.5%

Super zingy, grassy and citrussy white from the Loire valley in France but without the silly prices of Sancerre and Pouilly Fume. Brilliant if you love NZ SB.

Porta 6 Rosé 2017 12.5%

Red summer berries yet dry and delightful. From the Lisboa region in Portugal. One of The Independent’s top roses for 2018.

Jaboulet Syrah 2016, 13.5%

From a reliable Rhone producer – lovely black fruits with a hint of pepper. If you like Australian Shiraz (it’s the same grape!) or Rioja, you should love this.

Santa Rita 120 Cabernet Franc 2016, Central Valley 13%

Medium bodied Chileanred, using a grape variety usually found in Loire and Bordeaux blends; cassis, red fruits and spice, goes brilliantly with soft cheeses!

Chateau Pierousselle 2015 12%

Decanter and IWC 2018 Bronze prize winner – a classic Bordeaux blend; young, lively and fruity. Much more accessible than some other Bordeaux wines.
